GRANT GUIDELINES
The JEROME & MARLYCE KOSKOVICH FOUNDATION (The Koskovich Foundation) is a private charitable organization established in 2004 to make grants to 501(c)(3) organizations in the furtherance of Christianity and its fundamentals.
The Foundation is governed by a board of directors. These directors make the final decisions on all grants and expenditures made by the Foundation.
GRANTS MADE BY THE FOUNDATION
The Foundation makes grants to churches, schools, institutions, and other qualified charitable or non-profit organizations that advance Christianity, either directly or indirectly by promoting the tenets of high character and moral values.
Grants will be made in the following forms as appropriate to the project proposal and its timeline. Applicants are required to be specific about the form of grant they are requesting.
-
One-time grants: single-year grants for a specific purpose.
-
Multi-year grants: commitments for funding in increments over a period of no longer than 3 years.
Grants can also be made in the form of loans which, at the Foundation Board’s discretion, may or may not require security/collateral. Applicants for loans should specify the following:
-
The amount of the loan being requested.
-
The proposed payment schedule – amounts & times.
-
Unsecured collateral available.
The Foundation is small with limited funds and, thus, favors loan-grants over gift-grants in any form. Low-interest loans are often extended to qualified applicants; occasionally, interest-free loans are granted for very short periods of time.
GRANTS THE FOUNDATION WILL NOT MAKE
Any requests for funding for the following purposes will be denied:
-
Grants to individuals for any purpose.
-
Grants to international organizations that do not have a qualified domestic 501(c)(3) affiliate or partner.
-
Grants to endowments or other discretionary funding pools.
-
Grants for dinners, balls, or other ticketed events.
-
Grants for lobbying activities or any substantially political purpose.
